Solidlights pioneered the use of high power LEDs for bicycle lighting in 2003. Since then, they have been in daily use by commuters, road riders and mountain bikers around the world.

The 1203D, released in early 2005, was the first Solidlights bicycle light to run from a dynamo rather than a battery, harnessing the full power available from modern hub dynamos and freeing long-distance commuters, touring cyclists and Audax riders from the tyranny of the flat battery forever.

Now, for 2009, the Solidlights XB2 dynamo light uses more efficient LEDs and optics to give more light than ever before. Best of all, the modular way in which Solidlights are built means that this new technology is available to existing customers via an upgrade.

State of the art LED light sources, advanced electronics and rugged engineering give you a light you can trust. Solidlights harness the power of modern hub dynamos to give you enough light to ride at full speed on unlit roads.

Solidlights technology also powers the lighting system of the Boma off-road wheelchair from Molten Rock.
