versatile

brightness and beam patterns

With Solidlights, there's no need to find space for multiple light units on your handlebars. All Solidlights battery-powered lights come with three power settings as standard, letting you make the perfect tradeoff between brightness and run time. Unlike some other lights, the advanced LED technology used by Solidlights remains the same bright white colour even when dimmed, and the lower brightness settings give a massive increase in run time of up to 12 hours. Check out the run times page for more details.

mounting options

Brackets are available for both handlebar and helmet mounting.

handlebar mounted 1103

The handlebar mount is quickly and easily fitted above or below any standard-size road or mountain bike handlebar. It features a simple quick-release mechanism so the light unit can be removed from the bars when it's not needed, or when the bike is parked.

helmet mounted 1103

The helmet mount, CNC manufactured from anodized aluminium, has a thick neoprene pad and a hook-and-loop strap to firmly attach it through a bike helmet's vents. It is fully adjustable so you can aim the beam of light just where it's most useful: down low for map reading, or straight ahead for fast singletrack.

battery options

Solidlights battery pack

The Solidlights 1103 and 1303 have the benefit of a small, light, external battery pack which can be attached almost anywhere - under the handlebars, on the frame, or on a rucksack strap for example. That means it's easy to carry a spare on a longer ride and just plug it in when the time comes.

A "battery doubler" cable is available (part number 40012) which enables you to connect two batteries to the same light unit at the same time safely, so there's no need to manually change over.

This flexibility means you only need to carry as much battery as you really need, saving weight and space.

customization

Solidlights battery pack
Solidlights are probably the world's first bike lights to have a PC interface kit. Available shortly, this package of cable and software allows you to interrogate the light's built-in microprocessor and tune it to your exact requirements, as well as performing useful tasks such as automatically testing the battery life.
