Solid Lights use state of the art LED technology, which gives an unbeatable combination of performance and ruggedness. The combination of an efficient, bright white light source and advanced optics results in more light for less battery power. That means there's less weight to carry around.
Solid Lights have no glass parts, so they are equally capable of withstanding the rough-and-tumble of mountain bike racing as well as the knocks and bumps of everyday commuting. The LED is rated to last more than 20,000 hours, and so will never need replacing in normal use.
Solid Lights contain advanced electronics to ensure the LED always operates at its optimum efficiency, regardless of the state of the battery. The electronics also allow convenient, knock-proof on/off control and brightness setting, as well as giving you warning when the battery starts to get low and ensuring that there's reserve capacity to get you home.

The low power requirements of Solid Lights mean that the battery can be small and light. The battery uses the latest lithium ion technology, as used in laptops and mobile phones, to fit the maximum power into the smallest package.
Lithium ion batteries can be charged quickly by an intelligent charger, which will recharge the solid lights battery in less than 2 hours.
